Senior Technical Product Owner, Platform Solutions

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure technologies and their associated services, as well as experience with data governance frameworks, data quality management principles, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure our platform is developed in alignment with our broader goals and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement cloud-based data management platforms that meet the needs of our business.
2. Collaborate with architects, data analysts, data engineers, product managers, technical program management, Business Unit leaders, and franchises to create compelling data vision and gain alignment on the path we take to get there.
3. Identify opportunities for leveraging data analytics and AI to enhance platform functionality.
4. Accountable for successful adoption of new data standards and platforms to make data a strategic enabler for the business.
5. Work collaboratively across teams and departments to develop the product strategy, roadmap, outcomes, and key results to execute on business goals.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (7+ years) in technical product management roles with a focus on cloud-based data management platforms.
3. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure technologies and their associated services (e.g., AWS).
4. Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality management principles, and regulatory compliance (e.g., CCPA).
5. Experience with open source, always-on, application databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
6. Proficiency in agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework) and tools such as JIRA or Trello.
7. Solid understanding of software engineering principles with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
8. Highly collaborative – able to work cross-functionally with a number of internal and external stakeholders.
9. Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions.
10. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
11. Ability to influence and get people excited about the power of data.
