About the Role:

Xpera is seeking a skilled Claims Expert to join our team. As a Claims Expert, you will be responsible for investigating various types of insurance claims for individuals and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate Claims: Gather statements from insured individuals and witnesses/third parties to determine the cause and liability of claims.
  • Evaluate Damages: Determine the extent of damages according to client standards.
  • Negotiate Settlements: Negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements for all parties involved.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development by meeting with current clients.
  • Adhere to Work Standards: Adhere to established work standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid License: Valid AMF license in claims expertise - category 5A.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of claims settlement experience.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingualism is an asset.

  • Claims Experience: Experience in property and/or liability claims.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Negotiation Skills: Negotiation skills.
