- Behavioral Support: Employ principles of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention to identify and intervene in situations of challenging behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely records of individual progress, reporting any concerns or issues to the Foster Care Facilitator.
- Education: Grade XII Diploma (or G.E.D.) and certification in CPR and Emergency First Aid.
- Experience: Minimum of one year experience providing services to individuals with disabilities, with knowledge of current trends and services.
- Skills: Ability to work effectively as a team member, communicate effectively, and possess a strong person-centered focus.
