At Royal Bank of Canada, we're looking for an exceptional Strategic Cybersecurity Project Leader to join our team.

A key responsibility of this role is to manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives for Global Cybersecurity at RBC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business.
  • Provide on-site/remote leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.
  • Deliver appropriate and effective management/executive level communication.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years' progressive IT project-related experience (including cybersecurity experience)
  • Excellent and diverse experience in project delivery methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions, etc.

This position comes with a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
