Protecting our data centres requires a unique blend of technical expertise and security knowledge.

We are seeking a skilled Security Guard to join our team in Barrie, where you will be responsible for monitoring our data centres, conducting alarm investigations, and responding to security threats. As a Security Guard, you will be the first line of defence against potential security breaches, and your attention to detail and ability to think critically will be essential in keeping our data centres safe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor data centre security systems and respond to alarms
  • Conduct investigations into security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with our security team to ensure the highest level of security is maintained
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients and stakeholders

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $20.00 following training and successful approval of Secret Clearance certificate (costs covered by GardaWorld)

Requirements:

  • Valid security guard license and first aid card
  • Available to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts

  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • High comfort level working with computers and technology
