We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Porter Escort to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a Porter Escort, you will play a vital role in providing an escort, transfer, transportation, and delivery service to patients, specimens, medications, medical documents, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide escort and transportation services to patients and medical staff
  • Transfer and deliver medical specimens, medications, and equipment
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility
  • Operate hospital equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors

Requirements:

  • Grade 12/GED required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
