Purpose:

The Academic Peer Support Assistant plays a vital role in designing and implementing peer development programs that foster academic success and student engagement at York University.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with students to develop and deliver peer support initiatives
• Provide guidance and support to students in achieving academic goals
• Lead and motivate students to take initiative and demonstrate leadership skills
• Foster a sense of community and belonging among students
Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a York University student
• Previous work experience may be considered
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
