Job Description:

Navtech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Design Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality training content for our customers. This includes creating learning materials such as reference guides, eLearning modules, online help, and other customer-facing support and learning content. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instructional design principles and experience with LMS administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop training content for customers using ADDIE/SAM/Agile methodologies
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and business owners to research, plan, produce, and maintain high-quality training materials
  • Manage learning records and access requests in the LMS
  • Upload training and development content to learning paths or courses within Litmos/Moodle
  • Maintain and update the NAVBLUE Academy course library


Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:
  • A degree in Education, Business, or Communications-related discipline
  • At least 2 years' experience in information/instructional design or technical writing/communications in a software development organization
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, design, delivery, and evaluation of training courses (ADDIE/SAM) and Agile methodology
  • Strong understanding of learning environments and systems


Technical Skills:

The successful candidate will also possess advanced proficiency in graphics and eLearning software, including Adobe Creative Cloud, TechSmith Camtasia and Snagit, Articulate 360, and Vyond.
