Denture Technician

Hallmark Dental Laboratory, a family-owned business with over 40 years of experience in Atlantic Canada, is seeking a skilled Denture Technician to join their team. As a leading dental lab in the region, they offer a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to work with the latest technologies and advancements in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Set teeth for complete and partial dentures, ensuring precision and quality.
- Apply expertise in gingiva esthetic wax up (festooning), gingival cutback, and pour on milled PMMA arches.
- Trim and polish dentures, as well as denture products, to meet the highest standards.
- Assemble digital dentures and create custom shades for denture products.
- Sandblast and Bond repairs, and process dentures using Pack, Ivobase, and Pour techniques.
- Communicate effectively with support for denture hardware and work chairside with dentists to convert denture cases to implants and implant-supported cases.
- Stay up-to-date with new dental technologies and advancements in the field.
- Comprehensive understanding of dental implants and implant-supported cases.
- Degree in Dental Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of denture experience.
- RDT or denturist qualification is preferred.
- Strong time management skills and proficiency in keeping detailed records and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and technical knowledge of dental procedures and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills for working closely with dentists and clinics.
