Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and assign sales workers to their duties, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Authorize Payments: Authorize payments by cheque, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately tracked and managed.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a retail business with staff accommodation available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
