About the Role:

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality therapy services to clients in their homes and schools. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and developing accurate therapy care plans, promoting client safety, and providing complex preventative or corrective actions for clients with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and build accurate therapy care plans based on the real environment of our clients.
  • Develop health promotion programs, prescribe equipment and supplies, and promote client safety.
  • Exert critical thinking to provide complex preventative or corrective actions for clients with diverse needs.
  • Partner with clients' family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding treatment goals and service plans.
  • Work in a hybrid model of care, including face-to-face and virtual, to build a schedule that works for you and your client.
  • Collaborate with a stable team from multi-disciplines to provide dedicated support, mentorship, and training.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a recognized Post Secondary program in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current active registration and good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Pediatric Care experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and the use of a reliable vehicle.
