About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Quinte Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients or biological samples, ensuring accurate and safe handling of radioactive materials.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures using radioactive materials on biological specimens, utilizing your expertise to obtain high-quality images and data.
  • Record and process patient data, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records to support patient care and treatment.
  • Provide appropriate care and monitoring of patients during examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
Requirements
  • Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association
  • Experience in a hospital or medical facility setting, with a strong understanding of radiopharmaceuticals and diagnostic imaging procedures.
