Job Title: Derrickhand - Oil and Gas Drilling

We are seeking a skilled Derrickhand to join our team at Precision Drilling Canada Limited Partnership. As a Derrickhand, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of our drilling equipment.

Job Summary:

The Derrickhand is responsible for operating and maintaining drilling mud systems and pumps, as well as writing daily basic progress reports. This is a seasonal position that requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain drilling mud systems and pumps
  • Write daily basic progress reports
  • Work in a team environment to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Standard First Aid Certificate
  • Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
  • Rig Worker Fall Protection
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Willing to travel
Work Environment:

This is a remote location position that requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors, confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
