Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Flats Eatery + Drink. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high performance.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and supervise and check assembly of trays.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player.
