Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze sample data sets to understand data size and type, and provide recommendations on suitable big data frameworks and databases.
  2. Survey business users and IT teams to identify, analyze, collect, transform, and document data sets for business insights.
  3. Design data pipelines for data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence applications.
  4. Build large-scale fault-tolerant enterprise applications using Hadoop and big data open-source solutions.
  5. Develop data pipelines and holistic data solutions that include OLTP, NoSQL, messaging, and search engine products.
  6. Work with multi-functional teams to access data elements, understand data being analyzed, and identify improvement opportunities for data ingestion process.
  7. Develop repeatable testing strategies for measuring results produced by analytics models.
  8. Test solution algorithms on real-time data processing systems and benchmark performance.
  9. Validate results of the model by developing testing framework.
  10. Operationalize an enterprise data governance strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of big data frameworks, databases, and data analytics tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
