At CB Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data analytics solutions that drive business insights and inform strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sample data sets to understand data size and type, and provide recommendations on suitable big data frameworks and databases.
- Survey business users and IT teams to identify, analyze, collect, transform, and document data sets for business insights.
- Design data pipelines for data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence applications.
- Build large-scale fault-tolerant enterprise applications using Hadoop and big data open-source solutions.
- Develop data pipelines and holistic data solutions that include OLTP, NoSQL, messaging, and search engine products.
- Work with multi-functional teams to access data elements, understand data being analyzed, and identify improvement opportunities for data ingestion process.
- Develop repeatable testing strategies for measuring results produced by analytics models.
- Test solution algorithms on real-time data processing systems and benchmark performance.
- Validate results of the model by developing testing framework.
- Operationalize an enterprise data governance strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of big data frameworks, databases, and data analytics tools.
