Electronics Simulation Research and Development Intern

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Electronics Simulation Research and Development Intern to join our team at Ansys. As an intern, you will be responsible for conducting research and development in the field of electronics simulation, working closely with our experienced engineers and researchers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development in electronics simulation, focusing on the application of machine learning techniques to improve hybrid solvers.
  • Study and summarize existing machine learning algorithms and frameworks used in the team and the company.
  • Apply machine learning techniques to make predictions on decisions that potentially appear during simulation.
  • Dynamically refine the prediction when more information is available during the progress of the simulation.
  • Summarize findings and present research achievements.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program in a Canadian university.
  • Pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and experience with ML-related projects.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (Python, C++, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD preferred.
  • Python experience preferred.
