Job Title: Food Service Supervisor - Ontario Inc.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team player.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment: Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment, and the successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
Language: English
Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week
