Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Installation Specialist to join our team at TDX Infrastructure Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining telecommunications systems, including trunking systems, circuits, and equipment in central offices and switching centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and analyze trunking systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Install and configure electromechanical, analog, and digital trunking systems, circuits, and equipment
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets to meet customer needs
  • Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

We are committed to supporting the settlement and integration of newcomers and refugees into our community. As a Telecommunications Installation Specialist, you will play a key role in this effort by:

  • Assisting with immediate settlement needs, such as housing and transportation
  • Supporting social and labour market integration through language training and skills development
  • Recruiting and supporting displaced individuals from conflict or natural disaster zones
Support for Youths

We are dedicated to providing opportunities for youth to develop their skills and gain work experience. As a Telecommunications Installation Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Offer on-the-job training and mentorship to youth
  • Provide coaching and networking opportunities to support youth development
Support for Indigenous People

We are committed to supporting the growth and development of Indigenous workers. As a Telecommunications Installation Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Offer mentorship and coaching to Indigenous workers
  • Facilitate access to Elders and other support resources
