About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor to join our team at Portuguese Cheese Company Limited. As a key member of our dairy production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our dairy processing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members
    • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
    • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
  • Production and Quality Assurance
    • Prepare production reports and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
    • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements
    • Implement and maintain Cleaning In Place (CIP) and Sanitizing in Place (SIP) Systems
  • Food Safety and Handling
    • Ensure that all food safety and handling procedures are followed
    • Implement and maintain high temperature short time (HTST) pasteurization processing
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 5 years or more of experience in food and beverage processing
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Strong knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
