Patient Services Coordinator

About the Role: As a Patient Services Specialist at McKesson's Corporate, you will play a critical role in coordinating and delivering services related to patient support programs. You will interact with patients, insurance companies, pharmacies, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to explore and obtain coverage for prescribed medication as well as manage patient cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely enrollment of patients into the Patient Support Program.
- Liaising with patients, insurers, and physicians regarding documentation required for maximum reimbursement coverage.
- Conducting information and patient financial assessment eligibility based on program guidelines.
- Providing responses to general inquiry calls based on information provided as part of the program materials.
- Coordination with Specialty and Retail pharmacies to ensure patient access to required treatment.
- Monitoring patient files to ensure timely reimbursement and financial assistance renewals.
- Processing documents supporting patient care, including infusion reports, lab results, copays.
- Reporting Adverse Events as per Pharmaceutical Manufacturer requirements.
- Participating in departmental continuous improvement activities.
- Maintaining service levels in case management.
