About the Role

The IT Service Desk Technician will provide technical support to our customers and internal teams, troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues, install and configure new systems, and provide training and guidance to end-users.

To be successful in this role, you must have a solid understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, including desktop and server operating systems, printers, and software applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Install and configure new systems, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on the use of IT systems and software applications
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to resolve complex IT issues
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A college diploma or university degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least four years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a help desk or service desk environment
  • A strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, including desktop and server operating systems, printers, and software applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a customer-facing role
