Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at EAT BKK THAI KITCHEN. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as soups and sauces.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Assist with food presentation, including plating and garnishing dishes.
- Perform other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
