Job Title: Home Health Care Worker

Fortuna Family is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Worker to join our team. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer tasks, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (note: this is not a condition of employment).
  • Ability to work in a client's home environment.
Work Environment:

Our clients live in a variety of settings, including private homes and apartments. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will work independently, but will also have the support of our team and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients.
