Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Controls Technologist to design, develop, and implement control systems for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming DDC (Direct Digital Control) electronic controllers and electro mechanical controls.
Key Responsibilities- Develop software programs according to sequence of operations as per plan and specifications.
- Generate controls drawings, electrical power drawings, and circuits.
- Design and develop control systems for HVAC equipment, including air handling units, fans, variable frequency drives, actuators, temperature, humidity, and pressure sensors.
- Develop programming, graphics, and sequences of operations for DDC systems.
- Project manage, troubleshoot, and commission HVAC control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in instrumentation and controls related to HVAC & R systems.
- Strong knowledge of sequence of operations for heating, cooling, heat recovery, and dehumidification equipment.
- Ability to generate AutoCAD drawings for electrical panels and control schematic drawings.
- Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, and ability to generate P&ID, sequences of operations, drawings, and bill of materials.
- Proficiency in English (reading specifications, communications, etc.) is required.
