This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at West Coast Seniors Housing Management. The salary for this position is approximately $78,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced LPN to provide high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care community. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, implementing individualized care plans, and ensuring the delivery of quality resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess residents' physical and psychological conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice
- Liaise with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and treatment
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and contribute to the development of resident-centered care plans
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A graduate degree in Practical Nursing from an approved program
- A current license to practice as an LPN in British Columbia
- Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility, an asset
