About the Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance for the client's Enterprise Database Archival Service on the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP Public Cloud). This includes collaborating closely with end-users, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of the platform.

Key Accountabilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patch installations, and system configurations, to ensure the stability and security of the CDP environment.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to support users in using the CDP platform.
  • Work with Big Data and Business Intelligence technologies.
  • Analyze data and prepare information results.
  • Escalate issues and risks, as appropriate.
Essential Qualifications
  • University degree in related discipline; OR 2-yr diploma in a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • 1 year of experience using Big Data platforms like Cloudera Data Platform.
  • 1 year of experience with Azure Infrastructure and Services.
  • 1 year of experience with Big Data and Business Intelligence.
  • 1 year of experience with CDP Public Cloud upgrade, patching, and system maintenance.
  • 1 year of experience with Data Warehouse and Reporting Tools.
