About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bakery Team Member to join our team at Thrifty Foods. As a Bakery Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting with the preparation and display of bakery products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist with the preparation and display of bakery products, including decorating cakes and pastries.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous bakery retail experience is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety legislation, policies, and practices is an asset.
  • Post-secondary certification is an asset.
  • Classification as a registered apprentice or certified journeyman baker is an asset.
  • Available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
