We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at ONTARIO INC. as a Cleaning Specialist. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that requires 35 hours of work per week.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, making beds and changing sheets, distributing clean towels and toiletries, stocking linen closets, disinfecting operating rooms and other areas, cleaning and disinfecting elevators, handling and reporting lost and found items, and attending to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to prevent dust buildup and ensure a safe environment.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris.
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests as needed.
  • Stock linen closets to ensure adequate supply levels.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to prevent the spread of germs and viruses.
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure prompt return to their rightful owners.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and professional manner.
Work Conditions and Requirements
  • This role involves repetitive tasks and physical demands, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
