SQL Datastage Production Support Specialist

Job Title: Production Support Specialist for Datastage SQL
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Specialist to join our team at Capgemini. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise for our Datastage SQL platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement JCL automation scripts to improve process efficiency
- Collaborate with the team to drive the implementation of SRE principles and framework in our operating systems
- Develop and execute SQL queries at an intermediate level to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Ensure data analysis and control processes are in place and functioning correctly
- Work independently to resolve technical issues and implement solutions
- Develop and maintain Linux shell scripting skills to automate tasks and improve efficiency
Required Skills:
- 6 years of experience in Unix shell scripting
- Experience with Hadoop Hive platform, Cloudera, OpenShift, and Java application support is a plus
- Strong understanding of DevOps processes and automated releases
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
