Financial Controller

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our finance team at Blazesoft. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in financial management, ensuring accurate financial planning and analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Own monthly and annual accounting closing and reporting, providing insightful analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct regular P&L reviews, identifying trends and variances.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Own local and international tax, ensuring timely reporting, payment, and compliance.
  • Monitor costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, identifying trends and variances.
  • Collaborate with our Compliance team to ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Financial Controller position or similar role.
  • Strong understanding and expertise in budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, and P&L reviews.
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • CPA designation would be a significant advantage.
