We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Circle K. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are adequately trained to perform their tasks.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they meet our high standards.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform our business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that our stores are always fully stocked.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales floor staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Our stores are fast-paced and dynamic environments, and as a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be expected to work in a team-oriented setting and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
Language:English is the primary language spoken in our stores, and as a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be expected to communicate effectively with customers and staff in English.Hours:
Our stores operate on a 35 to 40 hour per week schedule, and as a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be expected to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
