Job Summary:

The Order Picker is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders from the cooler and freezer storage areas of our Warehouse. This role requires a high level of physical ability and endurance, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Pick products as indicated on individual pick lists and place them on pallets in a stable and secure manner.
  • Be familiar with the warehouse layout, including directional access and location codes.
  • Meet and exceed expectations related to accuracy and productivity.
  • Adhere to safety standards, both in equipment use and in picking procedures.
  • Learn and follow steps to choose the correct pallet for different customers.
  • Follow procedures when product is out-of-stock.
  • Place pallets in the correct staging area for quality control or shipping.
  • As directed, wrap pallets and prepare them for shipping.
  • Complete paperwork as required, including pallet tags and tracking paperwork.
  • Learn and follow spill clean-up procedures.
  • Participate in inventory as required.
  • Assist with general warehouse clean up and housekeeping.
Qualifications + Expectations:
  • High level of physical ability and endurance.
  • Ability to work in cooler and/or freezer for entire shift.
  • Lifting up to 55lbs.
  • Repeated lifting, bending, twisting, standing, and reaching.
  • Attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work autonomously and complete work independently.
  • Reading comprehension of alphanumeric codes.
  • Pallet Mover and Reach Truck experience preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and flow.
Compensation + Working Conditions:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a set schedule of Sunday to Thursday. The starting wage is $23.95/hour with a paid meal break. We have scheduled wage increases based on hours worked and a company-wide Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) annual wage review.
