Job Description

We are seeking a Chief Cloud Security Strategist to lead our team in designing and implementing cloud-based security solutions for the public sector.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with system integrators and developers to architect and design technology solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the public sector.

You will provide expert knowledge of existing architectures and decision-making processes to inform future design decisions and architecture.

In collaboration with the system integrator team, Team Leads, Technical Architect, and Developers, you will design and validate the technical requirements to transition a design into a working solution.

You will participate in the Explore and Realize phases of the project and contribute to all remaining phases to ensure the technical design is installed, configured, documented, and functioning correctly.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect
  • 3+ years of experience developing solution architectures across n-tiered platforms
  • 3+ years of architecting solutions involving complex integration scenarios (multi-platform, competing technologies, SaaS and PaaS)
  • Knowledge of program-level security services such as pen testing, vulnerability assessments, and threat risk assessments
  • Knowledge of Azure Architecture (NSG, Firewall, Monitoring, Subscriptions, Key Vault, Security Controls, Authentication)
  • Knowledge of architecture principles (TOGAF, Zachman)
  • Expert knowledge of Information Architecture principles and techniques (data management, data integration and data quality platforms and tools)
  • Expert knowledge in at least one enterprise ETL tool

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of approaches to Azure Operationalization and Security Program Integration
  • Experience with large transformational projects that include phased deployment approaches, parallel application operation, and application decommissioning
  • Integration patterns including platforms such as Snaplogic or Azure Integration Services
  • Knowledge of SMS and SMTP services such as Twilio and SendGrid
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Business Intelligence including platforms such as Power BI
  • Experience working in the Public Sector

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
