Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Morning Glory Montessori Children's Centre Inc.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator Assistant will work under the supervision of our experienced early childhood educators to provide high-quality care and education to our young students. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily programs, engaging children in activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records.
  • Reliability and team player skills.
  • Experience an asset.
