About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Total Care. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and exercise.
  • Medication Management: Assist clients with medication administration and reminders.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on outings and errands, ensuring their safe transportation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Rural area, working in clients' homes.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with physically demanding tasks.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
