About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Davis GMC Buick in Medicine Hat. As a key member of our service department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of vehicle repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions
• Examine vehicles to determine additional safety or service work requirements
• Communicate with service advisors to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction
• Order required parts and complete reports to record problems and work performed
• Road test vehicles as needed and supervise apprentice technicians as assigned
• Stay current with manufacturer technical bulletins and required OEM training

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience as a technician, preferably in a designated OEM environment
• Journeyman mechanic license
• Ability to perform heavy work, including frequent lifting of over 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license

What We Offer

• Competitive pay rate up to $40 per productivity hour
• 40 hours per week
