Municipal Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Power Broom Operator to join our Asphalt Paving division. This role will involve operating power broom equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for construction and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate power broom equipment to ensure surfaces are clean and prepared for construction and maintenance activities.
• Conduct daily maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Accurately complete daily logbooks and timesheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including labor work such as shoveling and raking gravel.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow a firm work schedule and adhere to construction site protocols.
• Must be well-versed in construction site rules and code of conduct.
• Ability to perform manual tasks requiring independent judgment and action.
• Must have a solid understanding of power broom operation and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and manage time effectively.
• Ability to operate required equipment safely and responsibly.
• Compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Effective communication with co-workers and supervisors to ensure project completion.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and ability to operate farm tractors.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions, lifting, pulling, and managing heavy equipment and objects. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided to minimize risk on the worksite.
