About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Van Yee Gourmet Ltd. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for retail or wholesale distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
  • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer requirements
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat for retail or wholesale distribution
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for distribution
  • Remove bones from meat to ensure quality and safety
  • Cut poultry into parts for retail or wholesale distribution
  • Grind meats to meet customer requirements
  • Prepare special orders for customers

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train on the job
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a meat cutting or processing environment
  • Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and safety protocols
