Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Fabricator Metalworker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
- Fitting, brazing and torch-straightening metal
- Operating oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
- Determining weldability of materials
- Maintaining and performing minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- At least 7 months of experience in metal fabrication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Hit & Run Collision Inc. offers competitive salaries and benefits packages to its employees.
Salary InformationThe estimated annual salary for this position is between $40,000 - $60,000 depending on experience.
