Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at RLC INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and dump trucks
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
  • Measure distance, volume, length, and weight
  • Complete onboard and other logs
  • Secure special attachments to equipment
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Caterpillar (CAT) controls and John Deere controls
  • Knowledge of backhoe excavator, loader, and dump truck operations
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a variety of heavy equipment. The work will involve working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
