About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Teranorth Construction & Engineering Limited. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concrete Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, and impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Project Management: Estimate costs and materials, prepare tenders and quotations, and instruct apprentices.
  • Site Operations: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete, install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
  • Quality Control: Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Technical Skills: Operate CADD and other computer software systems, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Work Environment

As a Concrete Finisher at Teranorth Construction & Engineering Limited, you can expect to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels. You will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and in outdoor conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing.
  • Language: English.
