About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Little Hands Montessori Academy. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that align with our Montessori philosophy and support the unique needs of each child.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor staff members, trainees, or volunteers to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education.
  • Activity Leadership: Lead engaging activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Child Support: Assist children in developing essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Snack Preparation: Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaboration: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a comprehensive support system for our students.
  • Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of our students.
  • Teamwork: Supervise and coordinate activities of other Early Childhood Educators and assistants to ensure a seamless and effective team effort.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Work Conditions: Attention to detail
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
