Main Responsibilities

The Customer Demand Planner will be accountable for ensuring robust demand plans are generated for Canada. This role requires strong relationships with multiple functions, customers, and partners to achieve high levels of customer service and KPI delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate demand plans across various planning horizons (13-week, 18-month, and 3-year plan) at the relevant SKU hierarchy for a set of customers.
  • Driving collaborative planning processes internally and externally, particularly around new products.
  • Influencing volume consensus across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Customers using insight-led analysis to demonstrate trends, performance, and future expectations.
  • Balancing excellent customer service levels with inventory value targets.
  • Generating the best possible demand forecast for Canada in collaboration with Commercial and Finance teams and insights from International Supply Chain Analysts.
  • Ensuring appropriate systems disciplines are utilized, including statistical forecasting, history cleansing, segmentation, etc.
  • Monitoring actual orders against demand forecasts, investigating significant variances, understanding root causes, and their impact on the wider supply chain.
About You

We seek a proactive and self-reliant individual who can work with high accuracy without direct supervision. Key competencies include effective communication, customer orientation, learning attitude, independence, accuracy, robustness, flexibility, and task orientation. Strong Excel skills and SAP experience are preferred.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits and perks will be discussed during the interview process.
