Retail Store Supervisor Job Description
At Stop & Shop Convenience, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff members
- Teach interest or professional development courses to enhance staff skills
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage inventory
- Establish work schedules and oversee payroll administration
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including resolving issues that may arise
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment
- Permanent employment with 35 hours per week
- Fluency in English
