We are seeking a skilled Licensed Tradesperson to join our team at Purolator. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling equipment to ensure it is operating in a safe and efficient manner.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical failures on material handling equipment to minimize downtime and reduce the impact on service delivery.
- Inspect and monitor material handling equipment and related facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain reports on safety and operational performance.
- Coordinate and document work orders in our computerized maintenance management system.
- Red Seal Certification as a Licensed Industrial Millwright or Electrician.
- 3-5 years of experience in installing, maintaining, diagnosing, or repairing material handling equipment.
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and equipment installation.
This role will be based in a warehouse environment, with occasional work on the road and outdoors. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including early morning and evening shifts.
