Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Tech to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a Mental Health Tech, you will provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and observations
  • Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and maintain professional boundaries
  • Identify patient behaviors that contribute to crisis situations and utilize de-escalation techniques
  • Participate in planning and implementation of patient groups and activities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide support as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
