Island Health is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum coverage in Campbell River. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our busy Emergency Department.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide emergency medical care to patients in accordance with Island Health's policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures

**Requirements**

  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
  • Hold CCFP-EM or FRCPC Emergency Medicine certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
