Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Childcare Program Lead to join our team at Nottingham Child Care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience leading childcare programs.

About the Role:
  • This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.
  • The language of work is English.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To lead and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
  • To develop and maintain a safe and engaging environment for children.
  • To supervise staff, trainees or volunteers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • To assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and preparing reports for parents, guardians or supervisor.
  • To establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • To plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • A College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-12 years old.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and ability to ensure compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctuality, dependability, flexibility and reliability.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and regional averages.
