About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Reliance Comfort Limited Partnership o/a Reliance Home Comfort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and maintenance for our customers' heating and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Install and service water heaters, furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners to meet customer needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Valid Gas Technician II license.
  • Received certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario - 313d).
  • Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
  • Class G Driver's License.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HVAC service and maintenance, preferably with a focus on water heaters and HVAC equipment.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, and occasional squatting/kneeling.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
