About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Model Validation Expert in our Global Wealth Management segment. As a senior member of the Group Model Risk Management team, you will contribute significantly to our mission by ensuring model effectiveness and supporting risk measurement, investment strategy development, asset liability management, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Validate models to ensure they meet industry standards and perform adequately.
  2. Develop benchmark models where needed and conduct independent research.
  3. Evaluate potential model risks and recommend risk mitigation measures.
  4. Communicate findings to stakeholders and model risk leaders.
  5. Comply with the Model Risk Policy and document model validation outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial mathematics modeling.
  • Expertise in stochastic and numerical techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, C, SQL, or Python.
